Øyvind has his background with a MSc in Marine Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2011. He started his career in the oil and gas industry; going from project management roles in a large international corporation to having business management roles in smaller ventures. Since then, Øyvind has been a co-founder and CEO of Kolent (today Enlight AS), a company focusing on project finance and internationalization, before co-founding and being a CEO of Norsk Solar AS where he is today. Through his role in Norsk Solar, he is also involved in the project companies, most notably as the Chairman of the Board of the Nordic Investment Cooperation AS, a joint venture between Norsk Solar and Finnfund.
