Jon Biggs is a Managing Partner at SVB Capital. He is the head of the Europe funds management business, responsible for investing in established and emerging fund managers across Europe and Israel, and for driving strategic growth initiatives across the region. Jon joined SVB Capital in September 2021, bringing two decades of 

venture capital experience and leadership.

Prior to joining SVB Capital, Jon spent 20 years at Accel in London. He was one of the first hires when the European strategy was originally launched and was most recently COO of Accel London. During his tenure, he led the successful raises of 5 early-stage tech funds, focused on Europe and Israel, totaling in excess of $2.5 billion. He also worked on all portfolio company investments, including managing M&A and IPO exit 

activity. During his time at Accel he regularly liaised with the U.K. government and industry bodies to help promote the tech industry and facilitate greater access to capital and talent. Prior to Accel, Jon held roles at AXA Investment Managers and Deutsche Bank.

• Jon graduated from the University of Bristol with a bachelor’s degree in economics and qualified as a U.K. Chartered Accountant at PWC.
