After a long tenure as journalist and TV host, Carina Olset Hovda, started as a Communications Advisor in 2022.

She worked as a journalist for 21 years, both in local, regional and the national press. She is from Northern Norway and is educated as a journalist at Nord University in Bodø. From 2006–2022, she worked for the Norwegian broadcasting corporation NRK and has built up a large network of contacts throughout her career.

She covered her first football match back in 2001, and the last game she hosted for NRK was the UEFA women’s Euro 2022 final at Wembley Stadium.

During her time in NRK, she hosted every international football championship, both men and women. As a journalist she worked with all kinds of sports, and has also appeared on radio, podcasts, worked as a photographer/editor, and been responsible for a large number of broadcasts as an editor-in-chief.
