The Summit of the Minds: Radical technologies' impact on business and economy

The 4th annual Norway Summit conference will take place on June 5 at Clarion Hotel Energy in Stavanger. The Summit will take place during the Altibox Norway Chess tournament, an elite chess tournament with the world's top 10 chess players.

The Norway Summit discussions will be on future technology, in particular on artificial intelligence and blockchain, why you need to know more on these subjects and how you can implement them in your business and everyday life.

The conference will start 9:30 am and finish at 3:30 pm.

New, and sometimes described as radical technology, will be changing the way we do business. In fact, it has already started. We are in the midst of a digital revolution and private businesses as much as state institutions, have had to adapt to digitalization, or at least try to keep up with it, for quite some time already.

New technology such as artificial intelligence and blockchain are now at the doorstep. Gartner says that by 2020, automation and artificial intelligence will reduce employee requirements in business shared-service centers by 65%. The World Economic Forum has stated that 10% of the total Gross National Product will be stored in blockchain by 2027. You need to be prepared.

The adaption of new technology will massively change the world economy and bring new opportunities, although negative side effects such as cyber security, need to be addressed in a much more serious way.

As a leader you need to understand this world changing technology that is shaping the new digital economy. What are the realities of these emerging technologies? And how are data, A.I. and blockchain pushing for innovation and business model renewal?

These are some of the questions to be raised at the 4th annual Norway Summit conference. Some of the world’s leading experts within these fields will be in Stavanger on June 5 to shed light on these issues.

Be challenged in the way you think about the future and prepare to adapt your leadership mindset. Can you afford to miss it? The time is now.
